Pizza Lunches

PSPS Pizza Lunches are often the Society's most popular events. Each lunch allows attendees to interact informally with a guest speaker in a physics-related field, as well as collecting a free lunch. They are held approximately weekly in the Joseph Henry Room (at the northeast corner of the 1st floor of Jadwin Hall) and announced in advance on the website and on the mailing list.

JP Discussions

Once each semester, PSPS hosts a session in which current and former juniors in the physics department present and discuss their independent work, for their own benefit as well as that of freshmen and sophomores who will be writing their own JPs in a year or two.

π Day

A celebration of all things pi(e), sponsored jointly by PSPS and the Princeton Math Club. This event occurs every year on or about March 14 (3/14), and features a pie eating contest, a pi recitation contest, and plenty of free pie for onlookers.

Movie Night

Each year, PSPS organizes a movie night open to the entire Princeton University community, usually involving at least one marginally physics-related (though not geeky) movie. Free popcorn and soda is provided; all you need is your prox for a night of action on the big screen!
