About UsWelcome to the homepage for the Princeton Society of Physics Students (PSPS). Our most important mission, in my personal opinion, is spreading just how awesome the study of physics is! The fact that we just discovered the Higgs Boson? Awesome. The fact that we are getting ever closer to understanding how the Universe may have formed? Awesome. The fact that, as a Princeton physics (or astrophysics, engineering, etc.) student, you can undertake research with some of the leading minds in the world beginning your very first year? Awesome! Our most popular events are pizza lunches with research presentations from various professors in all areas of research related to physics. Our ultimate goals are to encourage upperclassmen to widen their knowledge of physics, to give underclassmen the opportunity to meet professors and know what research projects are out there, and to be a resource for all students looking for advice or curious about any aspect of physics. To that end, we hope to develop an Undergraduate Guide to the Physics Department within the year. We welcome all Princeton students to join us - you do not have to be a physics major to be part of the PSPS! Please email psps@princeton.edu or submit our Member Signup Form to be added to our mailing list for news and announcements. And please keep visiting our website as we will be continually updating it. Welcome to Princeton Physics! -Ben Cook '14 President, PSPS We also welcome you to our pages on Facebook and Twitter, where all important upcoming events are announced:
